My bike launches straight but when it puts the wheel down in 3rd gear it tends to lean over to the right a bit. The run is straight and I don't have to correct direction or anything then it straightens back up in about the top of 4th gear. Not sure what to do about this. It's a turbo 10" tire bike runing 8.10's to 8.20's

Pup has articles on this site that explain chassis set up and tracking. Not sure where they are in here maybe someone can guide you to it.

how far could it be 'leaning over' if you dont have to correct? you aint gonna like this but sounds like a rider issue more than chassis are your bars level or staggered? if everything is straight and set correctly the bike dont know if the tire is in the air or not remember when i moved my rear rim over to the right for chain clearance? and it was already a little right to begin with? everyone freaked out and said the bike wouldnt go straight like that? it goes straight as a arrow |

I asked because when we went to the 11" tire we had to move the wheel 1/2" to the right. Everything was cool until 3rd gear when it put the front wheel down and made a left turn! Scott |

well i guess mine aint got enough hp to know the diff? first couple of passes it seemed to go right when it was on the bar so i went down .5 turn right and up .5 turn left then it went straight when i changed the tire last time i made em even again and it went straight so i figure it was the tire making it pull not the wheel or where it is in relation to the center of the bike |

Sidewalls breakdown after a while, dont run them too long, or it could be spinning.

I think you were lined up to the center (or the bike ran to the center on the hit), you over corrected it by pulling it to the left, then you had to pull it back over to the right, this is where it seems to lean over. Overall (from the view I had) it all starts with getting lined up str8, or pointing the bike so it goes str8. Great job of riding. I am sure there will be other opinions. s.r. |

looked to me that the bike was lined up perfectly straight and went perfectly straight until 3rd gear just like he said bet if you take that all kill out and put a 1-2-3 in it that doesnt happen anymore or just ride it? you said you didnt have to correct but you can clearly see in the vid that you did it was carrying the wheel all thru 2nd - maybe you have the bars cocked when you shifted 3rd? either that or the track is not level after 330' did you check that?

How can you tell if the bike was lined up perfectly straight when the camera angle was not directly behind the bike? Watching the front wheel and wheelie bars I would bet that if he hadnt corrected, (visible by the left side bar being driven on) that he would of been in the other lane before the 1/8th mile cone. Correct me if I'm worng. s.r.
