Topic: ZX9R Turbo new videoPosted: 20 October 2007 at 7:42pm |

Hi I built a new motor on my ZX9R Turbo with J.E. forged turbo pistons 8:1 compression ratio. In this video i run with 11psi, because I'm restrict by my fuel system setup. I will change that when i receive my malpassi fuel pressure regulator. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1aa1d71d-7881-4e26-8021-9 9cd01248b16.htm |

Man that is a great video. You said you have ordered a malpasi regulator. What is special about that regulator? I have a mallory rising rate regulator. Is the malpasi better? Keep the videos comming I want to see more!

I want go up the boost, 15psi on fuel pump or maybe more. I bought the same fuel setup than 99turbozx9r. I'm restrict with my fuel setup about 12psi fuel. I bought msd injection fuel pump and i receive today my malpassi fuel regulator. The malpassi fuel regulator is preset about 2,5psi and can go over than 25psi. But i don't know how much is max pressure. But 99turbozx9r run 25psi with this setup. My bike season is nearly finish. I live in canada and the snow become in november. |

the msd pump will support up to 45psi (450hp) and the malpassi will keep up. ive personally seen 25lbs of boost and 28lbs of fuel pressure.. the only time my fuel pressure is a bit off is between gears because my cheap BOV wont release fast enough..lol
