Sprakey: Thanks for your help on this mate. I'm snowed under with two deadlines before Xmas so I can have a week off! The joy of fortnightly deadlines.
Email me and I'll share what I've found so far.
Do any of the American sanctioning bodies have spec's or rules covering tiedown straps?
EG: Mounting/connection points. or materials. Basically, any info would be appreciated.

Mick,
The most of the American rules just say that they have to be "bolt-on" straps. Not regular tie-downs you'd use for other uses. It's assumed that if you have one made by the motorcycle drag racing community i.e. Schnitz, Pingel etc. that it's going to pass tech. The other rule is if you are using a tie-down you can't use wheelie bars.
Yep, it sure is. Turn around and have a look at the one on the shelf behind you. What you have is a bottle of Bundaberg UP, Under Proof. The bottle in my pic is OP, Over Proof. Much stronger. Much nicer.

Shnozz: Inner Circle Full Strength. 33% OP. Remember it? Black label with the red spot. Made by CSR. They've just re-released Inner Circle but are hesitant to let us have Full Strength. Aahhh, that takes me back to when I was 16 and learning to drink rum.
Ya gotta be careful of that stuff... It'll turn yer hair white!

Great to read that mate. It's always nice to know that we have primary producers involved in dragracing in their own special way.
Cheers matey, Gazza
