Hello,I need some guidance, I'm a fabricator and no nothing about electrical stuff. I have an old 71 Honda drag bike that I am making for the street. I have a mighty mite battery eliminator? What is this for ? I kick start and run an old ARD magneto system. Do I need this battery eliminator? Do you know where I can get new belts for the magneto? I do need to wire it for tail, brake, and head lights. This, I think I can do if I find some 12 volt power? I just can't figure out what this thing is used for? Does it reduce voltage down from the mag to 12 volts? Thanks,

Is this ARD self contained?I have not seen one of those batt eliminators in a long time. The last that I saw and/or remember were for the old lucas electrics on the old 60's british bikes.I have about 6 or so new belts for an ARD mag that was for a 4cyl Kaw KZ motor. If memery serves me well, I took the old broken toothed belt to motion industries and they were able to match it for me.If it were me though, I'd either go back with the stock electrics or an aftermarket electronic one like, from Dyna if there is one.
