im not sure that number is to low for a 75 it may be a 73 -z-1 if so it is worth to much to take a chance on braking check it out for sure like i said the numbers run up higher the newer it is the colectors will pay big money for 73 stuff

I show 1975 Z1B 900 Engine #s from Z1E 047500 to Z1E O85847. Frame #s for same bike would be Z1F-47500 TO Z1F-85648

Ron's correct. The 72-73 Z1's engine/frame numbers end at 19999. 74 Z1A was 20000 through 47499 and 75's were 47500 through 85850. Back in the day when if you had keys # 751-755 you could drive away any 900 Kawasaki.

I knew someone would give you the exact info you needed mine is a 75 but the original engine cases are long since been blowed up but the head and oil pan are original just hope to keep using them.

its the big filter, not the 003 like in a J motor, and you should be able to get one from a dealer.
