Scott just announced on Dragbike live that it is Montgomery replacing Memphis in 2010.
My signature was the same as Fasthouse's signature but then he changed it to some hoodoo voodoo stuff!

Good one, Debbie.
And I'll bet some of the conveyances they used were fascinating too!

If I remember correctly, since the track is always ran as an 1/8 mile facility there was a horrific bump from bracket cars putting on the brakes at the 660.  Both wheels off the ground, shot into other lane,  poor prep from the 1/8th out, broken engine cases, etc.... At the time I remember thinking to myself, "this place is worse than Atco".

But,  Like Atco though  if the track is ground and repaired it has the potential for being a really great track.

Montgomery is where we go to run the 1/4 mile.  A great track and a lot of fun.

No, Steve is correct. The bump in the track was so bad they cut the race to 1/8 mile. That was some time ago and I would think it has been corrected by now. The track owner has always been Pro Bikes there so it should be a good fit.

Never been to Huntsville.

The track at Montgomery was very motorcycle friendly the couple of times that we were there.  The bump though was horrific, but since the facility had been used mostly for 1/8th it is understandable that it would have existed.
