Before I drive to Georgia I was wondering how many of the ADRL regulars are going to be running the event?

I think the big engines can not race per rulebook criteria, or at least in the same trim they use for ADRL.
My signature was the same as Fasthouse's signature but then he changed it to some hoodoo voodoo stuff!

No, most of the ADRL PXMs have no problem making the AMA rules. For us to make the AMA rules would have to add less than 10lbs. Its not the rules, its just the cost of racing.  Every team has budgets, the budgets are never as big as we would like. So a team like us trying to focas are budget on reloading for the 2010 ADRL season. But thats just us Monte

we only have a 4 speed tranny.  we've costed through after running 4th gear out at 7.0's but we are a good bit under weight. we're working on a sponsorship right now. just trying to get ready for next year. gonna try a few small things next weekend. then we have some big ideas for next year! it's gonna be exciting for sure!

Thanks for the feedback so far. Lance glad to see you were ok after the last SEMDRA race and you and your crew had that bike flying at the ADRL race in texas.  If prostar cant even get enough bikes to make a full field then it isnt worth my 2 hour drive to go watch. If they wanted to bring in more promod bikes they should have an 8th mille exhibition race. If anyone hears any word on who is and is not gonna attend please post.
                                                                          Thanks,
                                                                                   Justin

I'm looking forward to running Mike Thyens revamped Hayabusa Pro Mod. Weight is not an issue with the bike and rider combo at least 35lbs over weight according to AMA rules. AMA 1/4 mile racing will be a great test for the new combo. Mike and I would like to thank Dan from MPS, Jay from APE, Dave Schnitz, Walt Timblin, and Bill Robinson for all their support in our effort. If anyone else would like to jump on board please shoot me a PM.

AMA Dragbike races 1/4 mile Justin, why would they change it to 1/8 mile?? I understand Lance's deal as the four speed would not be good for the 1/4 mile. Maybe they can get a different trans so we can see him run the 1/4 mile. I would sure like to see them make some 1/4 mile passes, because when you get a great builder/rider like they have you know they could lay some numbers down. Come on Lance throw a 5 speed in there!

Justin, the 1/4 mile numbers that T/F 5.7's in the 240mph range, F/B 6.3's at 210+mph, P/M in the 6.6's at 200+mph and PST no wheelie bar bikes with street legal tires that run 7,1's at 200+mph is well worth the ride to Georgia. This is just a few of many Motorcycle classes, and this is a 3 day all bike race with the quickest fastest motorcycles on the Planet.

I feel pretty good that all four of the categories I mentioned above will break ET records or MPH records or maybe both! Come on out and have good time and see how it is done in the 1/4 mile! Tongue

we're almost at the top of 4th through the 1/8. you can stretch it out, but just money wise can't see doing it. 1/4mile is rough on stuff!
