Thanks

I have a small Nitrogen tank on my starter cart that goes to the staging lanes with me.....And a Co2 20 lb. tank in the pits.....I use the C02 for airshifter and the Nitrogen for the tires....The C02 tanks last about the whole racing season, (25lb. tank....)

I run the nitrogen bottle at the trailer.  I put c o2 on for a bit, but the pressure always seemed to fluctuate too much.  I was running it into my tank.  I ended up taking it back off.

The best way is to have a high pressure system for the shifter onboard....I run one on my streetbike. and get about 600 shifts before I need to refill.....No need to run nitrogen in your shifter tank, but really important to run it in your tires.....2.5lb tank won`t last that long filling airshifter tanks.....I use to run C02 in everything, but just have to check tire pressure`s more often.....Like Rosco says.....

I think I am going to run the standard 10oz co2 bottle and regulate it to 140psi to shift, I dont like the idea of filling the tank for the shifter every time,  how many shifts should i get out of  a 10oz co2 bottle?
thanks

The pressure unregulated in the bottle is about 500 to 600 psi.....
Then it`s regulated down to 130 psi to the shifter.....

I use my swingarm for a air tank. I had a idea for a second. WOW 500 psi!  Looks like I will be refilling between rounds. Thanks for the info.
