I just want to shout it out that we have a Swedish TFB pilot that has run the first 5-second run outside USA!
He's name is Peter Svensson and he did it at Gardermoen Raceway in Norway ! Here's a clip of the run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-zpUFa9vLg Peter has been the European Champion for several times for about 10 years ago with the same bike as now, then he took a break because of family etc. but now he's back with upgraded motor and he and he's team has the most powerful nitroburning bike in Europe. 5.938 is the exact ET and the computer said that he left off the throttle after 5.4 seconds. Big congratulations to Team Kendall Racing ! Edited by MarcusM - 19 August 2009 at 12:31pm |

Congratulations to the Svensson team from Pollard Nitrosports !!!! We were also trying to be the first non US team in the 5s and came close at Indy. Peter was on a great looking pass and if the computer is correct there is certainly more there.
Best of Luck!!!

Big time congratulations! Are you able to share short times and incrementals? It was a rocket in the 1/8th. He rode the hell out of it too!

Hi Surt!
Sry for the delay for my reply!
They have made the engine themselves! And also their crank is the first crank they ever build for this motor and they still use it, I think it's 17 years old or something. Almost everything on this bike is made by themselves, before they called themself for "Billet Racing".
I talked to Sören the crewchief and he is also brother to Peter who is the pilot, and i found out that the only modification they did after the 10 years long break from racing was a upgrade of the fuel system.
Kind regards, Marcus
