Antiphospholipid Syndrome is what I have, or so they tell me.
I need to be on Coumadin, (anti-coagulants),  for the rest of my life to prevent more blood clots...strokes, heart attacks, embolisms, etc...

So, I'm a bleeder...and I need to avoid things that might make me bleed...and that includes banging my head even with a helmet...
I guess they can't make me stop racing, but...

Of course I haven't asked Amy's opinion yet....Wink
That should be fun...

Sh!t....gonna be along winter....

Not looking for anyone here to tell me what to do...just needed to vent a bit...

Gettin' old sucks...Angry

Later,
Bob

 Bob,
Your life means more then riding a bike. Sell the bike and get a car. See you at the track.

I'm a so-called "bleeder" too since a few months ago. Doctor's nurse  mentioned same thing about not doing anything that could cause me to bleed after explaining the medicine I would be on. Not even to get a scratch. Good luck on that one I told her...work in a factory and it's going to happen...fact of life. Well...asked doctor during check-up later  about racing bikes and he said that I would be fine and would only bleed a little longer and a little easier but as long as I don't play with running chain-saws, etc. I would be fine. He said it would be fine to race the bike. I just try to be careful but have noticed I do bleed easier and it lasts a little longer but that's all. I am getting bike back together now so I can at least get in some racing this year.

Bob, that is exactly how I feel as well.
My signature was the same as Fasthouse's signature but then he changed it to some hoodoo voodoo stuff!

I'm with you 100% on that one!
Let those who ride decide.
