Did you guys happen to notice the attendance numbers? All I can say is WOW! This was a very special event. Thanks to all my racers and fans for making the NationalGuard.com US Drags such a tremendous success.

I have about 60% of what I need to do that deal.
Unfortunately, the other 40% is completely out of my price range right now.
I also only have about 60% of the talent and Knowledge I need... and I am giving myself the benefit of the doubt.
ADRL is a great show wherever its run.... Lots of fun to watch and I assume just as much fun to race.
Someday maybe.. Edited by Fasthouse - 26 July 2009 at 11:39am |

He was telling me at that race that the reason his bike wasn't running in the 20's was that it had 5year old valve springs in the motor and it wouldn't rev over 11,000rpm
Hopefully he'll find the time before next week to freshen the motor up...those boys are flying! We went 4.37 165 and didn't make it in...and my motor is fresh...lol Edited by Mac - 31 July 2009 at 12:46pm |

Let's see, that look reminds me of something...THAT'S IT! Billy Knievel!
All he needs to do is jump that sucka over 'bout a hundred school buses! I bet it would clear that many if he had a 660 ft run-up....
All kidding aside...Billy is one in a million, and we're all enriched by his long-time participation. Good to see him going strong! Edited by Hahn RaceCraft - 13 August 2009 at 4:29pm |

Thanks Bill always enjoy your input. I have always had to make do with less. Anybody involved with tech over the years can tell you what they've seen. If I told you the valve springs were that old you can bet it's so. I guess some people don't like what I've done with much less because it makes them feel bad knowing their stuff is much better and their running slower. Lack of parts, money and time have been my biggest problem over the last few years. I'm also trying new things and testing them at the races due to lack of time and money to test. I've had a crank on order since march and have been told not to expect it any time soon. There's always next year and with 14 championships under my belt I could never feel bad about going a little bit backwards in order to go forward. I left the valve springs in the bike and jacked up the shims in order to buy new 87mm pistons instead a set of 1223's. With less than 500 lift on my 2 valve there's lots of room to do that. I quess only time will tell but then again so far it has.

Billy you've always got some B.S. to sell and im not buying it! I would like to feel sorry for you but what's your b.s. reason now that ADRL is sponsoring you??? There's always something! As far as the crank deal...do like i did and buy 3 at a time! Your comment about slower ...hell i went 4.37 and you went 4.35...HUGE difference (we both didn't qualify). I'll tell you the big difference you've raced promod since it's conseption and i have made maybe 30passes over 3yrs and come out a couple times a year! So sell your B.S. to someone else! Bottom line you have done a ton in past ( AND I STRESS IN THE PAST) stop making excusing...(I.E valve springs). I'd like to feel sorry for you , but hell I have personally seen people give their own bike up for you to ride! So go feed everybody else the song and dance about crying poor mouth when your one of the very few with a sponsor! Hell aren't you a engine man???Damn how much money are valve springs anyway....i don't think you charge yourself labor ??? Please give me the next races B.S. .....Oh and do me a HUGE favor don't come over and ask me for anything again....you burned that bridge about 3yrs ago when i asked your advise!

You wanted a free tune up 3 years ago with a bike you got from someone else. I told you a few things to help but you were to cheap to spend any money but that's been your rep. I only asked you about a crank you had listed for sale on dragbike. I didn't ask you for anything else. When it comes to paying bills my stuff comes last. But if you can afford to buy 3 stroker cranks you wouldn't understand. So like many others you win the money war. It just makes it that much more fun to out run you. You say I'm crying you better read your own stuff. I hope you can find some peace for yourself because your little green monster is showing. |

Man that's kinda disrespectful there Mac. This is not the smack shack on another website. 14 championships must mean something sir... I don't believe that he was the only bike at the track all those years was he?? There is nothing wrong with disliking someone but atleast be professional on here about it. Billy deserves that much after being around this long. But hey, it's just an opinion as is mine sir...

Your right it's my opinion! No hard feelings...but unless you know the whole inside story you wouldn't understand my point of view! The man has won a ton... i will not begin to take that away from him, but nor will i stray away from the facts at hand. I have my view point..and he has his ,but what i won't is have tolerance for more B.S. or hear-say. I'am and will always be a straight shooter! I don't make excuses for my action's. Be what you are and don't make lame ass reasons for the results.

That is a fair assessment there Mac. And yes from what I hear and know, you are a straight shooter. Good luck to you with the rest of the season Mac.
