I wrote a program called Performance Miscellaneous which has a lot of gearing info in it. It's on my website on the "Download Files" page. It's shareware so that means you can try it first before you spend any money. Let me know if it helps or make suggestions as to what I can add.

Why are you leaving with the rpm so low? I have a small tire bike, though not as quick as yours, & I leave at 7800. Have you tried working with the static & weight on the arms to get it to leave above 7000? That would bring your 60 foots & your ets both down. Ray.

What I find interesting is the 60ft slowing down so much when you installed the M/T. Why would you use the M/T when the Goodyear was clearly superior and try to make up the 60ft with gearing? I have been thinking about trying the Goodyear again myself. Don't mean to hijack this thread.

I run a 1166 small tire. 16/44 gearing. I launch at 10000 and my best 60 ft is 1.25
1/8 mile 5.67 at 124.78. . I also run a goodyear. Are you using a 2 step?

I agree with Ray, I would be leaving in the 7-8K range, the bike should go much quicker. Mitch |
