Hi Folks,

We at John Morgan Racing are very sorry to bring the news to you all that we have lost a member of our team, Bill Hahn Sr. this morning.

Most of you will be surprised and happy to know that Bill turned into a somewhat kinder man in the last month or so. I had no more reason to be pissed off once I knew he was ill and I called and made peace with him.  And even more amazingly he also made peace with Bill Jr.

And this time I had no joke for him. It was the telling of dirty jokes back and forth that I'll remember the most from Bill... he knew more rotten jokes than I did! A few of them could never be repeated on the Joke Page!

Sure gonna miss the bastard!

Hold on to your linen Bill !

We will miss the man of many idea's and inventions. If it was something that could be improved, he tried to improve it. His never ending search for power, improvement and change is what made him the great innovator he was.
He will probably be up there and trying to improve or change some things as well! As Ian said, Godspeed.......................................
just here to make sure we all race!

Thank you Chris for your timely phone call.

Spending the last two months with Dad salved my soul, and with any luck at all, prepared me for the years to come.  Being with him at the moment he left this sphere and moved to the next is a feeling of closure I cannot fully express.

His legacy lives on in the spirit of all who benefited from his genius, a very long list.  I feel honored to have witnessed, and been a part of, such a legenday career.  For those who would not otherwise know:  his grandson Adam has been racing for years already, but on four wheels...but with a turbocharged four-cylinder, naturally!

Dad's granddaughter Cara, while not a driver (yet!), is a fervent pit crew member and shot these videos.  They, as I, both start looking forward to their next track visit as soon as the last one has ended.

Thank you to all who have extended their love and support these last months...it's a list too long, but you all know who you are.  I know now too, and I'll not soon forget how you touched Dad's and my soul.

Bye Dad Cry
