Alright let's toss this out there to just see what kind of interest there is! How many bikes can we commit to one race? I know Dan is in, I'm in, Steve is interested....... Who else? (that will actually show up and pay the entry. Oh yeah the entry........ about that, Here's what I have in mind for the July race $100 to enter gets you: $100 #1 qualifier bonus, $1200 to win, $400 Runner up, and $150 Semis. The kicker? you ask....... We need a sixteen bike field to make that payout. If we don't get a full field the payout will be pro-rated and the class will not run if we can't put together more than seven bikes. Bixler Racing Enterprises is willing to Sponsor the Saturday race, If somebody wants to step up for Sunday maybe we can do both days! The key is bike count!!! If we don't get a full field this will die on the vine. This will be run on a Pro-Tree and is an open class, Bar, No-Bar, turbo, nitrous, both, none, or any if you can cover 7.50 we want you to come play.

If mine can run that without beating the living snot out of it, Im in. I would bet that the Grothus family could have 2 entries in it as well.

A quick note to any Shootout bikes interested.  This class will run last in the run order and you will be able to use your Shootout qualifying passes toward this class qualifying  to save on time a ware and tear on your equipment.  We are all for this special race and are contacting a few people who may want to pitch in toward this class.

I like the sound of this!  Do you guys usually have a full field in SBS?  We have a 70inch nitrous bike we could bring as well.

Do you have any local racers committed to the class already?  It's a long way for us, I'd hate to drive 680 miles and only have 3 7.50 bikes there!

Chuck, there are quite a few bikes in this area that are very capable: Johny Bond, Dave Merchant, K'Vos, Dan McCarten, Two Ed Grothus bikes, Mine (I think), and I know of two turbo Busas over in Michigan that will run 7.50 just to name a few and that doesn't count the dozen or so shootout style bikes in this area. At the end of the day it's all about how many will show up, enter, and qualify. That's why I wanted to get this out there now for the July race. The July weekend is always our biggest bike count and best opportunity to draw new racers. There are a multitude of classes that a racer can enter to make the trip worthwhile so fill your trailer with as many bikes as you can fit, stuff a bunch of racers in your hauler and plan for the 11th and 12th of July. www.2wheelspeed.com

I would be there if it was at least $1000.00 to win.

Jeff if we get a full field of sixteen, the payout will be $1200 plus a $100 bonus to qualify #1 That is 7.500 or closest to it without breaking out. If we get fewer bikes the payout will be pro-rated but at this point I don't know what it will be. There are also several other classes in which you or your team mates can enter. www.2wheelspeed.com
