Sitting at the gate waiting for them to open and thought I would get a topic started for the SEMDRA opener.

The weather is AWESOME and it is suppose to be like this for the whole weekend! Yippee!  I will try and put up some updates as I can. It will be tough to do it in a timely fashion because I am racing in two classes S/C and P/ET but I will get it posted when I can.

The banquet starts at 5:00pm today with T&T starting at 7:00pm.

If you can make it down to the race you will have great weather and a great time thats for sure.
My signature was the same as Fasthouse's signature but then he changed it to some hoodoo voodoo stuff!

I made three passes tonight on the S/C ZX7R. 5.599 off the trailer then after "tuning" on it Crazy it went 5.697 and last pass 5.814. I think I need to put it back like it was off the trailer since 5.600 is the index.

A P/M went 4.29 tonight that was the quickest pass but I did not see who it was, I suck at reporting!

There were a lot of bikes doing the T&T hence my only making 3 passes. They cut off the line at 10:00pm.

You are right Wade.....that thing was perfect.  You must have been thinking that you needed to tune for Top Gas.   5.59 = TUNED !   You must have been on the DEW?

That's ok on the reporting Wade.  Just seeing a post from you stating that you are doing time runs on a KAWASAKI is PRICELESS....hahahaha.  I hope this post is embedded in that dragbike.com server.......hahaha.  You know I'm just yanking on you.  I'd love to be riding a Suzuki or ANYTHING right about now.  Have fun.......thanks for the post.

Turns out the slowing down each pass was not my tune ups, it was the rod that was going out. First round of Qualifying in S/C today it let go about 100 feet past the finish line,Cry unfortunately that means my racing is over with for the weekend.

On a better note, Travis Davis is on top with a 4.26 in P/M. Bike looked and sounded awesome as it was ripping down the track and the Davis crew definitely had some smiles on!Smile

Yes, ouch is fitting! Now I just have to get up the gusto to call and tell the owner of the bike that the engine is going to need a little work.Confused

On a positive note the engine had several hundred passes on the bottom end so if there is any consolation I guess that would be it.

Steve Sanders and Eric Delisle got that Kaw still maching on.  They  are currently still in the show as of now.  The Kaw went a 4.28 earlier.  Another TIMBLIN CHASSIS.

Eric  Delisle just beat Ron Procopio.  They both went 4.29's  Eric got him on a holeshot with a .028 light vs. Ron's .056 light.

Travis and Scott, Scott,s 4.23 takes out travis,s 4.29. Scott Gray went 175mph on that pass! Dang that takes some serious beans.

Eric and Scott will meet in the final.
