I have sent several bills and e-mails to Frankie Maio in Ocala,Fl. No funds have come my way. Current balance after selling a Kaw crank of his is $230.00 since 8-6-2007. Should have been enough time to take care of this .Timblin Chassis

Walt, I own my own business and had to learn a tough lesson the hard way.  I used to do the work, send it to the client with an invoice and wait for them to pay.  But in 2001 I had to write off $80,000 in uncollectable invoices.  When talking to an ex-employees of my old client she told me that her boss, one of the guys that ripped me off, told her that if he could cheat me out of the money he deserved to keep it.

That made my head spin.  I was taught to pay my bills, its a matter of honor and intergrity, a man pays his bills, period.  But there are a lot of people who think not paying their bills is not only alright, its a matter of skill.  It makes me sick to think there are people who actually try not to pay what they owe.

My wife took a class at our local college on vicimization, part of a law enforcement core.  She told the class about my clients not paying their bills as an example of being a victim and most of the class laughed at her.  Told her that if I was stupid enough to let people run up a bill I deserved to loose the money.

This is so foreign to me, what has happend to integrity and honesty???

Walt, I hope that you shame this guy into paying, I hope that he is a man of integrity.

I have a Zuk crankshaft that I replaced a left end on and returned to the customer 3 times to have him let it set in will-call till it came back to me. After the first time he said he had to get the money together then he said he was not home the last time it sat at will-call till I got it back....but I have the product...Had another customer tell me the check is in the mail...only when i finally got it the date it was postmarked didn't jive with his story...needless to say he is on PAY FIRST then I will send parts....

It's to bad because most people that have a problem will tell the truth about it...problems can and will happen to the best of individuals and I can live with that just don't lie about it...

You are right JD.  You only have to tell the truth once and it stays that way.  An untruth snow balls or turns into a web of deception.  If more people would start treating other people the way they would like to be treated things would be a lot better in this world.

I have found when dealing with customers and telling them how they need to pay, the ones that are going to pay, are the ones that dont have any problems with how you want or need to be payed. The ones that have an excuse not to pay like you want are the ones that aint going to pay any way. Send them some where else because you are not out anything yet.

Hey Walt,

Speaking of money. Why don't you answer your phone or answer e-mails from Mark or my self (Kahea) is it because you owe him 400 buck for some carbs from over a year and a half ago. thats my money by the way. so i guess your getting a pay back.
