 Randy..
When you go to the New posts Page, there is a box at the top left.
It Says "Show topics" and has a box out beside it. This box lets you determine how far back you want to search for new posts.
My bet is yours is set to go back farther than the first day of the new forum... so it just goes back to that point.

Nutz,

There's something else going on becuase all your posts (old forum and new) have

_popupControl();

in the post. Something is going on with your computer...

When its all said and done, there is usually a lot more said than done.

Hey Wade or somebody, I haven't been seeing any emails from the forum and can't seem to find the radio button to activate them either. Is the feature still with us?

If you are talking about Private messages there is  a link at the top of the page that states messages. It's in the area below the blue DBC icon. If you are talking about notification of new posts being emailed on topics you want to be alerted to it is in your control panel which is in the same area as the message link discussed above.

If you are talking about the actual dragbike .com email you would need to contact Scott or brandi on that one as I do not have admin functions there.

Wade, thanks for the answer, but, I'm still lost. I didn't get an email that you posted on this thread that I've posted to. It seems to me that there used to be a check box that you could select to choose whether you got notifications via email that someone had posted on a thread that you were posting on. That's what I need to get working again.

I see what the problem is Steve, but I need to ask Scott and Brandi before I make the web site changes to give the email notification of posts. Not my site so I do not want to make functional changes with out their approval first.

... Bottom of page, below several posts, in a topic, needs a new posts icon.

... Wade, after I read all the posts,  on one page, I don't want to go to the top of the page to click on the new posts icon, to see what I am going to read next, rather just have the new posts icon @ the bottom of the page also.

This forum navigates just as easily as the last one.

I really dig that I dont have to log in all the time, even when I switch terminals.

Its just different and it will take a day or two to get used to.  Its sure easier on us older guys eyes..

... Wade, the back button is fine, as long as DBC and or the server, is not in slow mode, then nothing happens and you hit the back button again and it goes back two pages. Rather just hit a new posts icon and know where it's going.
